UFC 219 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV- Saturday December 30

UFC 219 on Pay-Per-View this weekend will be headlined by former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm and current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Cristiane “Cris Cyborg” Justino Venâncio as they battle for the strap. Holm is coming off of 3 losses, having not won a fight since her historic knock out of former division queen Ronda Rousey in 2015. Holly attempts to take on the terrifying Cyborg, who is coming into this bout with a record of 18-1-1, having not lost a fight since her pro debut in 2005.
The co-main event has potential for fight of the year written all over it, as #2 ranked UFC Lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov fights #4 ranked UFC Lightweight Edson Barboza. The always impressive Khabib comes into this bout with a perfect 24-0 record as he steps into the Octagon for the first time since his submission victory over Michael Johnson on November 12, 2016 at the world-famous Madison Square Garden. Barboza, who looks to give Nurmagomedov his first loss ever, fights out of Team Ricardo Almeida in New Jersey. The former Ring Of Combat Lightweight Champion, Edson comes into this fight with an MMA record of 19-4 and a pro kickboxing record of 25-3. This fight is sure to bring fireworks as both of these men are hungry for the UFC Lightweight Championship.
