Fight Week: CFFC 63

It’s Fight Week for Caged Fury Fighting Championship.

CFFC 63 will take place this Saturday, Feb 18, at the Borgata in Atlantic City.  The fight card has 3 title bouts, and is packed with local fighters and exciting match ups. In the main event, CFFC Heavyweight King Zu Anyanwu takes on challenger Shawn Teed in a “Don’t Blink” title fight. In the bantamweight division, veteran Nick Pace defends his title against Ahmet Kayretli.  Also, New York’s Jared “Flash” Gordon will defend his featherweight title against Bill Algeo. Jared is one of the top prospects at 145, and we could see him move on to the big show with a win here.

As always, there’s also a stacked undercard with tons of talented fighters. Stephan Regman returns to action in a catch weight bout at 165 against Dave Marfone. Renzo Gracie Academies Thiago Rela fights Greg Soto in a welterweight bout, and we’ll also get to see the pro debut of UFC standout Aljamain “FunkMaster” Sterling’s brother, Troy Sterling, as he takes on Kenny Richmond.

Good friend of NewYorkFighting.com’s, and co-host of The Fight Cave MMA podcast, Sergio “The Savage” DaSilva drops back down to 130 for a catchweight bout against Eddie Alvarez. The Savage seems fired up after being called out by Mr Alvarez, an looks to make him regret doing so. Look for Sergio to impose his game wherever the fight goes, with some added punishment for his opponent being what he calls “disrespectful”.

We predict Sergio DaSilva by submission in rnd 1.
