The first Dead Serious MMA event of 2018 will take place on February 24, 2018 at The Showboat in Atlantic City NJ. This event will feature live amateur mixed martial arts action in the luxurious New Orleans Room. Dead Serious MMA has been growing every year, and is now a feeder program for Lou Negila’s Ring of Combat.
UFC on Fox: Emmett vs. Stephens at Amway Center in Orlando, FL- Saturday, February 24, 2018

The UFC returns to Orlando for this free event on Fox. Number 4 ranked UFC Featherweight Josh Emmett (13-1) will take on the number 7 ranked UFC Featherweight Jeremy “Lil’ Heathen” Stephens (26-14) in the main event of this evening. Both Stephens and Emmett are currently seeking their third straight victory in this bout, the winner of which will surely be near title contention. The co-main event of this event will be a matchup between number 2 ranked UFC Strawweight Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade (17-6) and number 5 ranked UFC Strawweight Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres (10-1), as these two women battle for their chance to get a crack at the title.
The main event of the Fox Prelims on this card will feature a Bantamweight battle between Long Island native Brian “Boom” Kelleher (18-8) and Renan “The Baron” Barao (36-5). Kelleher, the Bellator and CFFC alumni and former Ring of Combat Bantamweight Champion, looks to bring his UFC record to 3-1 as he takes on the former UFC Bantamweight Champion of the World. Barao, who has hit a bit of a rough patch recently in his career, had at one point amassed 32 professional MMA wins in a row over a 9 year period until he lost his UFC title to current UFC Bantamweight Champion T.J. Dillashaw in 2014.
