Maverick 4 at State Theater, Easton, PA- Saturday December 9
Maverick MMA will bring Mixed Martial Arts to The State Theatre for the first time ever for Maverick MMA 4. The card features 28 Pro and Amateur Mixed Martial Artists from around the world, including three title fights and one number-one contender fight: Maverick Featherweight Champion Scott “The Animal” Heckman defends his belt against Myron Baker; Eric Roncoroni faces Phil Hawes to see who will be the next opponent for current Maverick Middleweight Champion Joey Angelo; Vadim Ogar takes on Troy Wittman for the Maverick Lightweight championship; Jayro Martinez fights Chris Piriz for the Maverick Bantamweight title.

Dead Serious 26 returns to iPlay America arena on December 9 to bring you live amateur martial arts. Dead Serious is a feeder league for Lou Neglia’s Ring of Combat, which is has put over 100 fighters into the UFC. This event can be purchased to view live on Fite TV for $9.99.

UFC Fight Night Swanson vs Ortega at Save Mart Center, Fresno, CA- Saturday December 9
This UFC Fight Night will be headlined by #4-ranked Featherweight Cub Swanson and #6-ranked Featherweight Brian Ortega. The card will also feature an exciting bout between #7-ranked Bantamweight Marlon Moraes and #8-ranked Aljamain “Funkmaster” Sterling. Former World Series Of Fighting Bantamweight Champion Marlon Moraes fights out of Ricardo Almeida BJJ in New Jersey. Former Ring of Combat and Cage Fury Fighting Championships Bantamweight Champion “Aljo” Sterling fights out of the Serra Long Fight Team.
UFC Fight Night Swanson vs Ortega will also feature the long-awaited UFC debut of Merab Dvalishvili. Dvalishvili, also fighting out of the Serra Longo Fight Team, when he takes on Frankie Saenz. Saenz comes into this bout with the experience advantage, having fought against some of the top names in the division in the UFC, including Iuri Alcantara, Urijah Faber, Eddie Wineland, and Augusto Mendes. However, former Ring of Combat Bantamweight Champion Dvalishvili, who hails from the Republic of Georgia, is a very exciting fighter on a six fight win streak, including the impressive 15-second KO of Raufeon Stots. Stots, who is one of the top prospects on the regional MMA scene and will surely be in the UFC very soon as well, challenged Dvalishvili for his ROC title on Season 2, Episode 4 of the Dana White Looking For A Fight show, which ended with a brutal spinning back fist that left Stots flat on the canvas. Keep your eye out for Dvalishvili, who is sure to have a very impressive career.
