FIGHT WEEK – Upcoming Events:

UFC on Fox: Lawler vs. dos Anjos at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada- Saturday December 16
UFC on Fox this weekend will see two former UFC champions meeting in the main event. Former Welterweight Champion and current number 2 ranked Welterweight Robbie Lawler fights former Lightweight Champion and current number 4 ranked Welterweight Rafael Dos Anjos. With a combined 76 fights between them, these two experienced fighters will surely put on an exciting bout.

The first fight of the preliminary card on Fox Sports 1 will see Oluwale Bamgbose take on Alessio Di Chirico. Bamgbose, a Nigerian American fighter from the Bronx, is the former Ring of Combat Middleweight Champion who had come to the UFC with an impressive (and consistent) 5-0 record with all bouts ending via a first round TKO. Oluwale’s career in the UFC has not been an easy one, taking on some big names and sometimes on very short notice. In the Octagon he has already seen the likes of KO artist Uriah Hall, up and coming undefeated prospect Paulo Costa (who has finished all of his 11 fights before entering the third round), and The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil Middleweight Tournament Winner Cezar Ferreira. Despite a difficult start in the UFC, Oluwale is an explosive, exciting fighter who has proven to have KO power, and is surely a problem for anyone who stands across the cage from him.

Cage Fury Fighting Championships 69 at The Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ- Saturday December 16
CFFC returns to the Borgata this weekend for another exciting night of regional MMA. With eleven bouts, three of which are title fights, this
event should prove to be a great place to see some future UFC stars in action. Pat Sabatini (7-1) defends his Featherweight Title against Francisco Isata (12-4). Ricky Bandejas (9-1) defends his Bantamweight Title against Nick Mamalis (29-12). Sean Santella (18-6-1) defends his Flyweight Title against Kevin Gray (9-4). All three champions have seen success in many of the regional promotions, including as Ring of Combat, Dead Serious, PA Cage Fight, V3 Fights, and XFE.
