King of the Cage is one of the longest running regional MMA shows in the US, where some well-known MMA stars such as Cub Swanson, Urijah Faber, and TJ Dillashaw have been able to build up their careers before making it to the big show. In the main event, local star Pat “Patchy” Mix takes on rising star Tony Gravely for the Bantamweight Championship. The co-main event will feature local fighter Sean “Superfly” Felton and Anthony “The Genius” Romero as they face off in this Lightweight MMA bout. Other fighters that are scheduled to appear on this card are Dianna Karavas, Kristin Janese, Erik Herbert, Mike Diorio, Jeff Denz, James Rumley, Josh Ricci, Ali Rexhepi, Brody Walsh, Colyn Maddison, and Andrea Watson. Macerick returns to Pennsylvania for its 5th show, which will showcase professional and amateur MMA. Former Bellator MMA fighter Mike Mucitelli and Ultimate Fighter contestant and UFC veteran Matt Hamill will face off in the main event for the inaugural Maverick MMA Light Heavyweight Championship. Jay Haas and Scott Heckman will battle for the Maverick MMA Featherweight Championship in the co-main event of the evening. This event will also see a battle for the Maverick Amateur Flyweight Championship, in a fight between Jalen Torres and David Juliano.

Bellator 194 will feature the second bout of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix, with a rematch between UFC veterans Matt Mitrione (12-5) and Roy “Big Country” Nelson (23-14). The winner of this bout will move on to the Quarter Finals of the tournament, where they will face Chael “The American Gangster” Sonnen, who recently defeated Quinton “Rampage” Jackson to advance in the tournament. The winner of the Finals of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix will be crowned the new Bellator Heavyweight Champion. The former Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion, Liam McGeary (12-2) will take on Russia’s Vadim Nemkov (8-2) in this Light Heavyweight bout. Former Ring of Combat competitor McGeary, a BJJ brown belt under John Danaher, represents Team Renzo Gracie as he looks to bring his record to 13-2. Two professional female boxing Champions will take their skills to a different platform this weekend as they face off in this professional MMA bout. Heather “Heat” Hardy (1-1 MMA, 21-0 Boxing), also a Team Renzo Gracie representative, and Ana “The Hurricae” Julaton (5-3 MMA, 19-4 Boxing), will face off under the Bellator banner in this MMA fight.

The UFC returns to Austin on Sunday where #11 ranked UFC Welterweight Donald “The Cowboy” Cerrone (32-10) will fight Yancy Medeiros (15-4). Cerrone, a long time UFC and WEC vet, looks to bounce back from a 3 fight-losing streak, as he looks to end Mederios’ 3 fight-win streak, coming off of a performance of the night TKO of Alex Oliviera. The event will begin at 5:30PM ET on UFC Fight Pass, where New Jersey native, Tim “The South Jersey Strangler” Williams (15-3) will take on Poland’s Oskar Piechota (10-0-1). Williams, the former CFFC Middleweight Champion, will be making his UFC debut against the undefeated Piechota. In the main event of the Fox Sports 1 Preliminary bouts, Jared “Flash” Gordon (14-1) will battle Carlos Diego Ferreira (12-2). Gordon, the former CFFC Featherweight Champion, is a BJJ brown belt under John Danaher and represents Team Renzo Gracie, who’s only career loss was due to a doctor stoppage due to an injury. Ferreira, the former Legacy FC Lightweight Champion, looks to come back strong in his first fight since January 2016, where he won a Decision over Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
